ISPAI 2011 Small Enterprise Associate Membership Fee Criteria |

For Smaller Organisations
A new low cost membership fee of €300 was introduced in 2006 to assist smaller organisations
become signed-up supporters of Internet self-regulation. In so doing, the organisation
can state publicly that they contribute financially to the www.hotline.ie service,
have adopted the Association's "Code of Practice and Ethics" and so actively
promote a safer Internet environment. The fee for this level remains unchanged for 2011.
Qualifying Criteria
- The business must be a private limited company (not publicly quoted) with owner directors
or a sole-trader / partnership
Alternatively The business can be a subsidiary of a parent company(ies) that
is (are) not publicly quoted nor owned or part-owned by state or semi-state entities.
Assuming the business qualifies on the above, it must also meet the following conditions:
- It is a start-up operation with 15 or fewer employees, (including the owners or directors who work
in the business themselves) that commenced trading after 1st Jan 2010.
OR
- It is a small enterprise having 5 or fewer employees (including the owners or directors who work
in the business themselves). That is, it may have been trading prior to 1st Jan 2010.
AND in either case:
- Revenue in 2010 did not exceed €250,000.
Please Note:
- Acceptance of membership applications under the Small Enterprise Associate Membership level are at the sole discretion of the Directors of the ISPAI.
- A three year limit normally applies on membership at the Small Enterprise level, this may be extended in special circumstances at the discretion of the Directors of the ISPAI.
- Associate Members enjoy the benefits of full membership, they may take part in members meetings and contribute to ISPAI
policy development but are not entitled to stand for election as a Director of the ISPAI Ltd., though they may be invited or co-opted by the
Board to do so, nor are they entitled to vote at ISPAI Ltd. company meetings (i.e. AGMs or EGMs).
